Red Eyed Frog

Red Eyed Frog
A Red eyed frog is in The Animal Kingdom and their class is
Amphibians, their family is Tree frogs and is is a vertebrate
because it has a spine. An Amphibian is an animal that lives
in and out of the water and that breathes through their skin

A red eyed frog has a white belly, orange/black eyes,
its green on the outside and its hands and legs are orange.
A red eyed frog eats pinhead crickets and flies they are also
carnivores. They lay eggs between 20 and 40 eggs at a time.
They lay their eggs in the water.

They lay eggs because they are not mammals.
They lay eggs 20 and 40 times, their babies live in a tree
dwelling and the babies live with their mum for 5 years and
they don’t mate for life. Red eyed frogs do migrate but only
between the trees and the water. Their special feature is they
have a green colour of the body and it camouflages during the
day when red eyed frog rests motionless on the leaves.

A red eyed frog is not endangered.
