Conclusion

Mary Anning is a famous fossil hunter in Lyme Regis
Mary Anning was born in May 21, 1799 and she got struck by
lightning but was unhurt, some people say that the lightning
gave her special powers, Mary’s dad taught her how to find
fossils and she started finding fossils and selling them for
her family because her family is poor and she wants to raise
money for them, she was selling her sea shells that she found.
Mary’s father also taught her to find what they were
called curios at the nearby beach and famous cliffs at
Lyme Regis, Mary’s brother Joseph showed her to the
cliffs and Mary straight away could see that she saw no
ordinary creature skull. When she found the fossil the
people didn’t believe her and Mary thought that extinction
was a new idea and in 1812 Mary found a ichthyosaur fossil
after a few years later in 1824 Mary found a plesiosaur fossil
later on a few years later in 1828 Mary discovered a pterosaur
fossil and George Cuvie is a famous French zoologist and he
believed her.
Finally in 1847 Mary died of cancer when she was
just 47 years old.
After Mary died she became famous for her fossil hunting
